Nearly a decade in manufacturing, now finishing a Computer Science degree — here's how that path is going.
I spent several years working in manufacturing, where I learned to work with precision, troubleshoot under pressure, and keep complex processes running without room for error. Somewhere along the way I got curious about the systems running behind the scenes of everything — and that curiosity turned into a decision to go back to school for Computer Science.
I'm now a senior in Western Governors University's B.S. Computer Science program, building small applications to learn by doing and figuring out exactly where I want to land in tech. Right now I'm leaning toward cybersecurity — the investigative, always-learning nature of the field is a strong pull — but I'm keeping an open mind while I explore.
This site is where I'm keeping track of it all: my resume, the projects I build, and a running blog/update log of what I'm learning along the way.
Coursework spanning software development, database management, networking & security foundations, version control, and scripting & programming.
Managing an independent client engagement — diagnosing and fixing site issues, advising on site structure and UX, and using AI-assisted development tools to implement changes directly with the client.
Running graphics production and installation for up to 8 simultaneous custom emergency vehicle builds — building tracking systems, documenting workflows, and serving as the department's go-to technical resource.
Conducted compliance inspections and maintained defect logs and performance reports across custom vehicle builds.
Building and shipping small applications to apply what I'm learning in real code, documented on the blog.
Reflects hands-on coursework, independent projects, and real client/production work.
